Almost every rep find lives on one of three Chinese marketplaces. Knowing the difference helps you spot better prices and understand why some links behave differently.
Taobao
The giant consumer marketplace (owned by Alibaba). Huge selection, lots of rep sellers, decent buyer protection. Prices are retail-ish. Most "famous" finds are here.
Weidian
A smaller, more informal marketplace popular with rep sellers because it''s easy to list on. Many exclusive finds and factory stores are Weidian-only. Listings change often, which is why Weidian links die faster.
1688
The wholesale platform. Same or better factories, often cheaper because it''s built for bulk — but listings are less polished and minimum quantities can apply. If you find an item on Taobao, the same thing is often cheaper on 1688.
