How to Buy From a Chinese Shopping Agent (2026 Beginner Guide)
A shopping agent (or "buying agent") is a service that buys items from Chinese marketplaces — Taobao, Weidian and 1688 — on your behalf, stores them in a warehouse, takes QC (quality check) photos, then ships everything to you internationally. It's the standard way to buy reps from outside China.
The full process
- Find an item. Browse QCSFind and open any product. Every find links straight to the seller through an agent.
- Pick your agent. On the product page, choose Hipobuy, Kakobuy, CNFans or another agent. Signing up through the link unlocks welcome coupons (up to $450 in shipping vouchers).
- Order and pay. The item loads pre-filled on the agent. Choose your size/variant and pay — the agent buys it from the seller for you.
- Check QC photos. When your item reaches the agent's warehouse, they photograph it. Review the QC before you ship so you can catch any issues.
- Ship it home. Combine everything into one parcel, pick a shipping line, and pay for international shipping. Track it with our package tracker.
Tips to avoid getting scammed
- Only ever pay through the official agent checkout — never send money directly to a seller or a stranger.
- Always check QC before shipping.
- Ask the community before large orders.
